2016 ACMP Midwest Chapter Excellence Award
Recognize Those Who Make A Difference
Change Management Practitioner Excellence Award Winner
Strategic Director, Fifth Third Bank
An ACMP Midwest Chapter member who is recognized as a thought leader who has proved outstanding service to and accomplishments in the field of change management. A person who demonstrates successful contribution to special project that drives performance in his/her organization.
Angel has been able to ground structured change management practices in a very challenging, culture changing Enterprise-wide program named “Transforming Fifth Third.” She designed many tools to support the ambitious outcomes the program expected. One example is a Readiness checklist that identifies all the stakeholders and obtains their sign-off and comments before formal implementation. This allowed first to implement the multiple work streams operations as planned, but also identify improvements for post-implementation and ensuring better adoption. Thanks to her exceptional leadership, not only the organization has executed the change strategies flawlessly, but many of the implementation and sustainability activities she led through are now being adopted as standard practices for all major programs.

Gwen has gone above and beyond to support the conference planning this year. She took on more tasks than expected and completed them with a smile and no complaints. Gwen is very encouraging of her fellow committee members. She took on a very creative and innovative approach to make the conference this year bigger and better. She is very dependable and is a great advocate for ACMP overall! Without her this event would not be what it is today.
