Learn Coaching in Change Initiatives

What?

This webinar will provide a framework for incorporating Coaching into a change plan, and how to convince leaders/clients that Coaching is fundamental to the success of their change initiative. A 2018 study from the HCI (Human Capital Institute) and the ICF (International Coaches Federation) showed that of all change activities, Coaching can have the greatest impact on the success of a change initiative.

Why?

For change to be effective and sustainable, it must happen at the individual level. Although OCM approaches typically include training, feedback and one-on-ones, Coaching more effectively addresses the individuality of change. Leaders who are coached and who are also coaches are better able to lead change, deepening their understanding of resistance, increasing communication and building employee engagement. This session will discuss the impact of coaching on various groups and levels, and what type of coaching should be received/given by each group.

The Bottom Line: Coaching should be a fundamental component of any change plan. A well-executed Coaching plan can impact business results by increasing the speed and rate of change adoption, inspiring action, reducing resistance and improving the ROI of an initiative.

Learning/Skills Objectives

  2. Understand the impact of coaching on and by various groups: Executives/Leaders, Managers/Supervisors, Target groups/Champions
  3. How to convince leadership teams/clients to incorporate coaching into their change plans
