Alix is a Culture and Change Leader with over 15 years of experience in the People & Organizational Culture space. While her current focus is Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), she previously led Learning & Organizational Development at two other organizations. She is passionate about the empowerment of DEI and the Employee Experience leveraging the principles of workplace transformation and sustained learning. She has worked in organizations across several industries, from start-up to mid-size with varying levels of maturity. A builder by nature, she is known for her outside the box thinking and vision.
Alix has previously volunteered with ACMP Midwest advising on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategy and supporting the Strategic Relationships team for the Midwest Change Conference. For ACMP Global, she volunteered as part of a select committee tasked with finalizing its first-ever Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Statement. She also co-leads the Chicago chapter of a workplace culture professional group called Culture First and regularly supports adjacent professional organizations.
Alix holds an M.A. from New York University (NYU) in Africana Studies, and a B.A. from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities in African American Studies and Political Science. A lifelong learner herself, she is a Certified Change Management Professional™ (CCMP™), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), SHRM-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), DISC Certified Professional, and maintains additional certifications in Analytics for Talent Management (ATM) and as Leadership Development & Succession Strategist (LDSS).
